My name is Mei, my artist and brand name is zombiemei,

because it represent the dark side in me that my art usually won't show.

I'm an israeli artist based in the north.

I love anime, everything kawaii, my dog, collecting toys and oat-milk coffee.

My main work is comics, art toys and stationary.

The joy of childhood is represented strongly in my art.

My Story

I'm dealing with CPTSD (Complex Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder) from my childhood, but i always was artistic and exploring different things around any kind of art. I did music at a very young age and wrote a few short books and writing was my kind of expressive art for a very long time. in 2020, when COVID hit, i was able to write again after a long break, and my very first 6 songs album aired on September 2025. I've also designed the album cover. There's links for the album down below. In 2022 I've studied Tattooing and worked as a tattoo artist for a year or so, until I've figured out it wasn't my thing. At that time I started exploring many kinds of arts and crafts to try and understand which kind of artist I want to be. I always loved comics and toys and it was just obvious for me to go that way and start exploring. My main work are drawings and blind boxes. blind boxes for me are a never ending surprise and i love them so much that I'm accorporating that concept in a lot of my products.
